Ancient Roman Silver Denarius Coin, 103 BC, Roman Republic, Q. Minucius Thermus

An ancient silver denarius dating from 103 B.C., produced during the Roman Republic by the moneyer Q. Minucius Thermus. This coin measures 19mm in diameter, weighs 3.7 grams, and is made of silver. The coin has light wear, a well-centered strike, and a nice dark, original patina with areas of copper-colored toning. This listing is for the exact coin pictured. 

The obverse side of the coin features the Roman God of War, Mars, and the reverse side features two soldiers in combat.
