160 AD Ancient Roman Silver Denarius Coin, Emperor Antoninus Pius, Roman Empire

A small silver coin produced during the Roman Empire under the Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius in 160 A.D. The coin has light wear, a strong, well-centered strike, and an original patina with areas of iridescent toning. The coin measures 17mm in diameter, weighs 3.4 grams, and is made of silver.

The obverse side of the coin features a portrait of the emperor, while the reverse features Roma, the personification of the city of Rome. I translate the inscriptions upon request.

As with all coins I sell, I guarantee this coin's authenticity for life. This listing is for the exact coin pictured. The coin will be shipped in a archival-quality Mylar flip, secured in a corrugated cardboard safety mailer. Free shipping via USPS First Class - arrives in 2-5 business days.
