2nd Century AD, Ancient Roman Bronze Dupondius, Emperor Tiberius - Divus Augustus, NGC VF

A large bronze coin produced during the Roman Empire under the second Roman emperor, Emperor Tiberius, to commemorate the first Roman emperor, Augustus. The coin has moderate wear, a strong, slightly off-center strike, and a dark patina with green and sandy highlights. The coin measures 27mm in diameter and weighs 10.6g.

The obverse side of the coin features a portrait of Emperor Augustus, while the reverse features a Roman temple. This coin is professionally authenticated and graded by NGC to be in Very Fine (VF) condition.
