A billon tetradrachm coin produced during the Roman Empire under Emperor Trajan in 116 AD in the Egyptian city of Alexandria. The coin has heavy wear and a moderate, slightly off-center strike, with a pleasing original patina. The coin measures 25mm in diameter,and weighs 13.5g.
The obverse side of the coin features a portrait of the emperor, while the reverse features the Egyptian god Nilus, god of the Nile. This coin is professionally authenticated and graded by NGC to be in Choice Fine (Ch F) condition.
